2012 Annual dues:

Invoices have not gone out due to some transitional issues between
the old and new treasurer. We expect to have this resolved in 2
weeks. |

At the annual homeowners meeting, the following actions were taken:
- Results of ballot initiative to remove the tennis courts were
presented. The initiative received 82% in favor of removing
the tennis courts so the initiative passed. The removal of the
courts and installation of greenspace/walking track will begin in
the early Spring of 2012.

- Board members were voted in for 2012: Randy Lariscy,
Walter Sloan, Nikki Hanak, and Blake Oleson.

Annual Homeowners meeting is scheduled for
November 13th (Sunday) at 3pm. We will meet at the pool. The
agenda includes:
- Approval of budget for 2012
- Election of board members for 2012
- Results of the tennis court ballot

Ballot initiative # 2 from the January meeting is in-progress -
regarding the removal of the tennis courts from the association.
Ballots are due October 15th, 2011. |

Ballot initiative #1 from the January meeting did not pass. |

Special meeting was convened on 1/8/2011 at the pool for homeowners to
review and vote on the 2011 revised budget. The budget was
approved unanimously. Two motions were made and approved:
- Conduct a first ballot initiative to change the covenant
language in Section 13 from an 80% majority to a 66 2/3% majority in
order to remove an asset from the association.
- Conduct a subsequent ballot initiative to vote on the removal of
the tennis courts as an asset of the subdivision.
The second ballot initiative is to be undertaken regardless of the
outcome of the first. |

- The annual meeting will be at the pool
area on October 21, 2010 at 6:30pm. To download a copy of the
proxy statement, click here.
- The following
items are on the agenda:
1) Discussion of budget status and
general neighborhood condition/issues
2) Vote for Election of Officers
3) Vote on the 2011 Budget
4) Vote on reconstruction of tennis courts
5) Potential vote on the Special Assessment for maintenance of
community assets, including the pool and surrounding areas.
Please note that this item may or may not be ready for vote
depending on whether additional research that the Board is currently
undertaking is completed by October 21. Please be prepared to vote
on this item in the event that it is completed. If the research is
not completed a vote will be taken at a later meeting.

Location TBD.
- Target date for the pool opening is May
22nd pending county pool inspection approval.
- Tennis court work day @ 9am. Meet on the tennis
courts. We will remove the fence and net pools to ensure a safe
area.
- Our pool manager for 2010 is Dale Uden.
Be sure to thank him for his hard work in keeping the pool safe and
looking good.

Homeowner dues for 2010 are scheduled as follows:
- Full member $425 (applies to all homes sold after April 30, 2005
and any homeowners that convert to full membership thereafter)
- Civic member $200 (only applies to grandfathered homes under
pre-2005 covenants that have not converted to a full membership)
All homeowners are bound by the covenants and must pay homeowner
association dues to Farmbrook Village Recreation Association, Inc.
Homeowner association dues for 2010 must be paid on or before January 1,
2010. |
